Reflecting on the theory and practice of architecture is integral to how we approach the built environment. We look beyond the scope of construction projects to formulate our responses to the world we live in. We seek to identify and understand the underlying societal and economic forces at work. We use design competitions and self-initiated design challenges to test out these ideas and formulate our architectural vision.

We have been involved with designing and delivering content on ethics in practice for the continued professional development program at the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Above all, we enjoy conversations we have with students and young architects. Elisa has taught at a wide range of institutions such as Westminster University, the University of Botswana and Bath University. Since 2019, she has been working with BASEHabitat, based at the Arts University in Linz, Austria, where she runs a design studio researching sustainable housing solutions in collaboration with the University of Botswana. She also teaches a module on Social Entrepreneurship for Post-Graduate students.
