We start from a simple belief: that people are experts in their own lives. We have developed bespoke processes that allow their lived experience to meaningfully shape our projects. In our international work, collaboration means we focus on mutual learning and insist on truly equitable exchange. Our approach leads to better project outcomes for all our clients: better functionality, increased social value and places that people truly love.

We are COLLABORATIVE
We thrive on international collaborations, but we also know what it to be deeply embedded in a community. Our studio, Old St Leonard’s Hall, is both our workplace and a shared neighbourhood space - a living example of how architecture can strengthen local communities. This grounding informs how we approach every project: as part of a much larger ecosystem. .

We design to meet this generation's needs and to ensure future generations will meet theirs. In response to the mutually compounding crises of our time, climate, biodiversity, social and health - we use the full extent of our agency to always leave a place improved by our actions.

We don’t come with preconceived ideas. To achieve the best outcomes for our clients, we explore widely. We test and review designs, materials and processes to decide which is the best approach and why.
